Fellows
The ZZF is connected to scientists from Germany and abroad through various fellowships, which contribute to the networking and internationalization of research at the ZZF.
The Leibniz Summer Fellowships, which are offered annually, are aimed at advanced doctoral researchers from abroad and enable them to pursue their own research projects for a period of two months in exchange with the research departments of the ZZF and to present them in the institute colloquium.
In addition, the ZZF regularly hosts Visiting Fellows, who come to the institute as guest researchers with their own funding. These include Leibniz-DAAD Fellows, Fellows of the Leibniz Research Associations, and scholarships of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
The ZZF also awards Senior Fellowships to outstanding scientists who have previously held leadership or advisory board positions at the ZZF. The Senior Fellows are provided with the institutional possibilities of the ZZF.
