Take the S-Bahn or regional train to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, then the tram to the stop "Alter Markt".
The footpath from the the tram stop leads to Neuer Markt, continuing in the direction of the "Brandenburg Museum", passing through the archway and reaching another square, at the right end of which is the ZZF library.
