Remembering the Jewish past in Poland (2004-2020)
(part of the GIF-funded project: In the Land of Broken Mirrors)
The Memory of "the Jews" in Late and Post-Communist Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania, 1980-2020. Pls: Jan Behrends and Scott Uri.

Understanding how the populist Law and Justice (Pis) government (2005-2007, 2015-2023) and liberal civil society in Poland reinterpreted and utilized the Jewish past can shed light on processes of political change in Poland and the region.
