The Subjects of History: How Ordinary Germans Experienced Regime Change in the Twentieth Century
Using a variety of published and unpublished ego documents, this project looks at how ordinary Germans experienced regime change at the grass roots. I am particularly interested in how they learned the new "rules of the game" after major political caesura.
