Research and exhibition project

Fotografien der Langen Wende is a research project that focuses on images of the East German transformation process. Which photographs outline the late GDR and the early 1990s today? The research project addresses the conditions under which these photographs were created, the pictorial traditions and ruptures and undertakes a critical reflection on the pictorial memory of the long history of the fall of communism. It is planned to present the research results in an exhibition.

The project is being worked on jointly by Dr. Anja Tack and Dr. Isabel Enzenbach at the ZZF Potsdam.
