Fotografien der Langen Wende was a research project that focused on images of the East German transformation process. Which photographs outlined the late GDR and the early 1990s today? The research project addressed the conditions under which these photographs were created, the pictorial traditions and ruptures and undertaked a critical reflection on the pictorial memory of the long history of the fall of communism. 

The project was worked on jointly by Dr. Anja Tack and Dr. Isabel Enzenbach at the ZZF Potsdam.
