Project team: Karolína Bukovská, Lucas Frings, Jonah Schapira
Project leader: Birgit Marzinka (place of learning Keibelstraße), Irmgard Zündorf (ZZF Potsdam)

Between 1951 and 1990 was on Keibelstraße in Berlin-Mitte a detention center (UHA). She was attached to the neighboring Bureau of the People's Police. The UHA Keibelstraße was the only East Berlin remand prison of the People's Police, in which women were detained. From 1990, film and music producers use the lower floors of the former detention facility as a backdrop. The modernized cells on the sixth floor served as police and deportation custody from 1992 to 1996.

Carrier of the Learning location Keibelstraße is the Agentur für Bildung - Geschichte, Politik und Medien e.V. The facility is funded by the Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Jugend und Familie. Cooperation partner for the construction of the permanent exhibition, the text design as well as the development of the educational materials is beside the ZZF the department didactics of the history of the free university Berlin.
