Radio politics in 1930s and ‘40s Germany and China
The project analyzes the development of radio under right-wing authoritarian regimes in Germany and China from the 1920s to the 1940s. In particular, it focuses on the medium's role in disseminating propaganda, promoting the ruling party's ideology, and supporting the creation of new cultural forms that were compatible with the state's radical nationalist agenda.
