Decommunization: Ukraine and the ‘Post-Communist Space
The project is devoted to the history of the so-called "decommunization" in Ukraine from the late 1980s to the 2010s. "Decommunization" is considered in the context of similar processes in Central and Eastern Europe in the 1990s and 2000s. The main attention is paid to the reformatting of the symbolic space, the analysis of interests and actions of social groups that carried out "decommunization", and outputs and outcomes of this process. The "decommunization" is also considered in the context of post-imperial and post-colonial paradigm.
