Department V, “Globalisations in a Divided World,” at the Leibniz-Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam (ZZF) welcomes applications for a
Student Assistant (m/f/d) in International Contemporary History
to begin on July 1, 2025, or later.
The position is for 9.5 hours per week. Remuneration is in accordance with the guidelines of the State of Brandenburg for student assistants.
Your tasks:
- Supporting the department's research projects
- Independent literature research and compilation of bibliographies
- Assistance in the organization and implementation of academic events
- Support with editorial work for ongoing publication projects
Your profile:
The position is open to master’s and bachelor’s students. We welcome applicants with an interest in international contemporary history, experience with academic research, and familiarity with literature databases.
The ZZF is a research institute for German and European contemporary history and a member of the Leibniz Association. We offer an exciting work environment, a motivated and collegial working atmosphere, and flexible hours with the option of mobile work.
